With its many incarnations over the years, the SHVFD Ladies' Auxiliary is once again up and running to support our beloved Firefighters! Many thanks to the ladies that came before us to establish a great tradition and many thanks to the ladies who step up now to show their support.
"The Aux" is a not-for-profit organization formed by family members of the South Houston Volunteer Fire Department. Our group consists of wives, significant others, sisters, moms, daughters and other loved ones of South Houston firefighters. Our purpose is to support our fire department through volunteering, fundraising and community outreach; and to support each other through fellowship.
Although it's called the "Ladies' " Auxiliary, membership is open to dads, brothers, sons, uncles and any family member of a SHVFD firefighter.
